Dylan (die-lan) was raised by her father Romai, (rome-i) A Shephet who had fallen in love with a 'Cema, and later realized that the two just could not work. At their time of love and leisure, there had been an indiscretion between the two races, and when it was too late, Dylan was born.
Her mother Rei (Rae - Ray) had kept the pregnancy a secret. No one could find out. But when she tried to remain in hiding, she was found by Romai who had a gut feeling that something was wrong with her. He still loved her deeply, but because of his own kind, there was no hope. No future to behold with each other.
Romai found Rei there mid labor, a child born to light and darkness. Rei had been a kind soul who unlike the others, had hated what her future held. Staying in a destructive ring of her own kind, she always wanted to escape it. But once she realized she had something worth fighting for, she embraced it. Unfortunately, not early enough, as she was murdered by Romai after Dylan was born.
When Dylan turned seventeen, she had been hearing whispers about her past. Romai's past, and Rei's. Secrets had surpassed her wildest imagination, causing her to reach her partial potential of reading people. See if they were lying, or what had happened then, as to what would happen in the future.
Her mental capabilities had never been strong. No matter how hard she tried, it would never reach a certain limit in which she had practiced.
Dylan had refused her right to train, embracing her full potential as a powerful Shephet. When the time came, she was rid of her father once and for all. Simply for killing her mother. All those years of not being able to experience what life with a mother was like. Without knowing all that had happened, and why. It was something that had to be done, but has yet to be proven.
Over the years she had become more weird, more awkward by the day. Destruction was the way she worked, but she was empty inside. Empty outside. As if nothing about her exhisted at all.
Some call her strange. The hybrid who had cracked. Yet no one ever truly knew her, or got to know her. It's a possibility that they just didn't want to, or were too afraid. Their fault.
Now Dylan lives in Ustav'a, which is located in the South Meredia Kingdom. Try not to linger too long, you never know what fire you may start.
