Born long before written history, so long ago in fact that he doesn't even know how old he is or how he became what he is. He remembers very little of that time but it doesn't really bother him. He lives for the present and hardly worries about the future. He will survive as always, his immortality fueling his naturally boundless confidence.
Dave has traveled all around this world and has seen much. He has the wisdom of a worldly sage and can explain to a young adventurer why this monster should be feared and why that plant isn't edible. He can tell you how to get to such and such a place the fastest and what inns have the best food. He holds no prejudices but treats others based on how they treat him although he is always initially friendly to everyone. A thief and a warrior Dave lives by his own code of honor, one that is often at odds with the so-called 'civilized' societies.
